What is the Acne Bootcamp?
The Bene Acne Bootcamp is a structured, personalized program built on the Face Reality Acne Management Method, the leading acne-focused skincare system in the US. It combines in-spa clinical treatments with a customized at-home regimen and ongoing coaching to get you clear without harsh prescriptions or guesswork.
Our licensed, Face Reality Certified estheticians go beyond just treating your skin. They'll help you uncover hidden culprits: diet, supplements, lifestyle habits that could be standing between you and clear skin.
How the program works:
1 Initial consultation & first treatment (75 min)
Your journey starts with an in-depth skin analysis, sensitivity testing, and your very first clinical treatment. All in one session. We'll walk through how the program works, what to expect, and build your personalized plan from day one. Please allow 75 minutes for this appointment.
2 Ongoing acne treatments (every 2–4 weeks)
Regular treatments are the engine of the program. Each visit includes a check-in on your progress, gentle exfoliation, hydration, professional extractions, and always…sunscreen. Your esthetician will adjust your treatment plan as your skin responds and clears. Every treatment includes: progress check-in & plan review, enzyme or light peel exfoliation, deep hydration treatment, professional extractions (never at home!), and SPF application. Every single time.
3 Your customized at-home regimen
Clearing acne is a team effort. After your consultation, your specialist will prescribe a tailored Face Reality home-care routine specific to your skin type and acne. As your skin progresses throughout the program, your regimen will be adjusted to match, because what your skin needs on day one won't be the same as what it needs at month three.

THE PROGRAM:

We treat all types of acne: teen acne, adult acne, hormonal acne, cystic acne, back acne, and everything in between. During your initial consultation, your esthetician will identify your specific type and build a program tailored to it. No two skin journeys look the same, and that's exactly how we treat them.

Most clients begin to notice meaningful improvement within the first 4–6 weeks, with significant clearing typically happening between 3–6 months. Results vary depending on the type and severity of acne, consistency with your home-care routine, and lifestyle factors. The more committed you are to the program, the faster your skin responds.

It's possible, and completely normal. Some clients experience a purging phase in the early weeks as the active ingredients bring congestion to the surface. This is a sign that the products are working, not that something is wrong. Your esthetician will walk you through what to expect and will be there to support you through every stage of your journey.

Consistency is a big part of what makes this program work, so we encourage you to pre-book your next appointment before you leave, plus you'll earn a loyalty discount for doing so! Life happens, and if you need to reschedule we completely understand. Just note that gaps in treatment can slow your progress, so we'll work with you to get back on track as quickly as possible.

Absolutely. Teen acne is one of the most common types we treat, and the Acne Bootcamp is a wonderful alternative to harsh prescription medications for younger clients. The Face Reality method is gentle, effective, and tailored to the unique hormonal factors that drive teen breakouts. Clients under 18 are welcome with parental consent.

No referral needed. You can book your initial consultation directly with us. Our Face Reality Certified estheticians are trained to assess your skin and create a personalized plan. If we feel your condition would benefit from additional medical support, we'll always let you know.
PRODUCTS & LIFESTYLE:

In most cases, we'll ask you to transition to your prescribed Face Reality regimen and pause other products, at least initially. Many common skincare ingredients (even well-intentioned ones) can interfere with the acne-clearing process or cause irritation alongside the active ingredients we'll be using. Your esthetician will review everything you're currently using at your consultation and give you clear guidance on what to keep and what to set aside.

Diet can play a real role in acne for some people, things like dairy, high-glycemic foods, certain supplements, and even protein powders are common culprits. We won't put you on a strict diet, but your esthetician will have an honest conversation with you about lifestyle habits that could be affecting your skin and offer practical suggestions. Small adjustments can sometimes make a big difference.
HEALTH & MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS:

We welcome clients who have previously used Accutane, but we do require that you have been off Accutane for at least 6 months before beginning the Bootcamp program. This allows your skin sufficient time to stabilize and recover, ensuring your treatments are safe and effective. If you are currently taking Accutane, we'd love for you to reach out so we can plan ahead and have you ready to start as soon as the time is right. If your acne has returned after a course of Accutane, the Bootcamp can be a wonderful long-term solution.

Pregnancy and hormonal changes can significantly affect acne, and we want to make sure your treatment is safe for both you and your baby. Some of the active ingredients used in the Face Reality program are not recommended during pregnancy. Please let us know if you are pregnant or trying to conceive before booking, and your esthetician will work with you to find the safest and most effective approach for your situation.
